SUMMER INSTITUTE PROGRAM COST
The 2026 Summer Institute will offer:
- Two Main Teachings
- By Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche during Session 1 and tentatively part of Session 2
- By Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen during the other part of Session 2
- Four levels of Mahamudra courses (for qualified participants*):
- Mahamudra Shamatha
- Mahamudra Vipashyana-I
- Mahamudra Vipashyana-II
- Mahamudra Enhancement
- Morning Community Meditation practice
- Five different shedra (Buddhist philosophy) courses
- Mind and Its World I with Clear Thinking
- Mind and Its World III
- Madhyamaka
- Buddha Nature
- Mind Only
- Tibetan language courses
- Enhancement activities for onsite participants include lujong (mind-body exercises) and Space Awareness, and for onsite and online students we will have Debate classes and Health and Healing classes
Note: One Mahamudra level and one shedra course are included in your Summer Institute tuition.
Mahamudra eligibility applications will be available in March when registration opens.
SESSION 1
July 7 -July 15
Register for Session 1 to attend:
- Main talk by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
- Mahamudra Vipashyana II
The first session of:
- Mahamudra Shamatha or Vipashyana I (for qualified participants)
- Onsite enhancement activities
- Morning Community Meditation
- One shedra course
- One Tibetan language course
Note: Two sessions of a shedra course and two sessions of a Tibetan language course are included when you register for Session 1.

SESSION 2
July 17 – July 25
Register for Session 2 to attend:
- Main Talk: tentatively to be taught in part by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and the other part by Acharya Lama Tenpa Gylatsen
- Mahamudra Enhancement by Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen (for qualified participants)
The continuation of:
- The Mahamudra Shamatha or Vipashyana 1 course that you took in Session 1, if applicable
- Onsite enhancement activities
- Morning Community Meditation

SESSION 3
July 27 – August 4
Register for Session 3 to attend the Silent Mahamudra Meditation Retreat led by Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen.
