SUMMER INSTITUTE TUITION
The 2025 Summer Institute will offer:
- Two Main Teachings
- Reflections of Mahamudra Siddhas by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche during Session 2
- Distinguishing Phenomena and Pure Being by Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen during Session 1
- Four levels of Mahamudra curriculum courses (for qualified students*):
- Mahamudra Shamatha
- Mahamudra Vipashyana-I
- Mahamudra Vipashyana-II
- Mahamudra Enhancement
- Key Points of Mahamudra Shamatha and Vipashyana-I and -II: A Guided Review (for qualified students*)
- Morning Community Meditation practice
- Five different shedra (Buddhist philosophy) courses
- Mind and Its World I with Clear Thinking
- Mind and Its World II
- Madhyamaka
- Buddha Nature
- Paths & Bhumis
- Tibetan language courses
- Enhancement activities for onsite students, such as lujong (mind-body exercises) and thangka drawing
- Special presentations and a celebration in honor of our 30th Summer Institute
Note: One Mahamudra level and one shedra course are included in your Summer Institute tuition.
*Mahamudra eligibility applications will be available soon.
SESSION 1
July 18 -July 26
Register for Session 1 to attend:
- Main talk: Distinguishing Phenomena and Pure Being by Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen
- Mahamudra Vipashyana II or Key Points of Mahamudra Shamatha and Vipashyana-I and -II: A Guided Review (for qualified students)
The first session of:
- Mahamudra Shamatha or Vipashyana I (for qualified students)
- Onsite enhancement activities
- Morning Community Meditation
- One shedra course
- One Tibetan language course
Note: Two sessions of a shedra course and two sessions of a Tibetan language course are included when you register for Session 1.

SESSION 2
July 28 – August 5
Register for Session 2 to attend:
- Main Talk: Reflections of Mahamudra Siddhas by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
- Mahamudra Enhancement by Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen (for qualified students)
The continuation of:
- The Mahamudra Shamatha or Vipashyana 1 course that you took in Session 1, if applicable
- Onsite enhancement activities
- Morning Community Meditation

Nitartha’s financial Assistance Program, funded by donations from fellow students, was established to support those who would not be able to attend the Institute’s courses without this assistance. To request aid, please fill out the PPFA application before you register.
For-credit tuition: US $1235 for two sessions (Credit for attending the Summer Institute is dependent on approval by your university.)
