Nitartha Summer Institute 2019 Payment Policies

By registering for the Nitartha Summer Institute 2019, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. Please note the given deadlines.

Registration for the Summer Institute closes on May 31, 2019.

Payment & Deadlines

All payments must be made in full at least 10 days prior to the start of the Summer Institute unless a PPFA is approved (see below). No refund will be given should participants choose to leave early or arrive late.

Early bird registration

Register by April 30 and save $50 per session — save $100 for 2 sessions!

Financial Assistance

Students with limited funds can apply for PPFA (Payment Plan & Financial Assistance). Applications will be reviewed (usually within 14 days). Discounts are only available for tuition (maximum 50%), not for housing or meals.

You can choose to pay in installments prior to the Summer Institute. Please apply for PPFA or for paying in installments here.

The deadline for applying for PPFA or paying in installments is May 31.

Cancellations

Cancellations need to be requested in writing by email to the Summer Program registrar, Ellen Weiss eweiss@nitarthainstitute.org.

Cancellation up to 30 days prior to the program a student registered for:

Full refund of tuition, housing and meals minus a US$ 50 processing fee.

Cancellation 10–30 days prior to program start date:

Full refund of housing and meals and 50% of tuition refunded.

Cancellation within 10 days of the start of the session start date or after the session has started:

No refund given.

The US$600 down payment required for registering for the Mahamudra Shamatha Online course is non-refundable.
