The Gomdra track of the Summer Institute emphasizes meditative practice as the method to discover, experience, and integrate new possibilities for being, sanity, and wisdom. While studying the Ocean of Definitive Meaning – a precious text on instructions on Mahamudra – students will be guided in applying the received instructions in meditation sessions. The unique retreat environment of the Summer Institute is ideal to bring your meditation practice to a new level.
I found the teachings very relevant to my current life circumstances, thanks to how the instructors approached the material. In our discussions, I felt I could talk about real life challenges within the frame of dharma studies. This was extremely valuable to me. The practice of analytical meditation was also rich and rewarding.
